Participants will join Brooklyn Community Services’ Spring Into Action initiative by caring for Bed-Stuy’s street trees with the NYC Parks Department. Participants will start with a mini workshop on Street Tree Care hosted by the NYC Parks Department, then be guided in litter removal, mixing up soil and adding mulch to the tree beds of a few blocks.
