This toy drive is to collect any plushiest or small games ages 3+ for our visit to sick children at Methodist Hospital. These children have a wide variety of medical cases which brings awareness to our members of both health awareness as well as how privileged they are. Members of the club then personally take the toys and bring them to the Pediatrics department of the hospital, divide the toys up by age, and divide into groups to follow a medical worker help introduce ourselves as well as the toy to brighten the kids’ day. Our goal with this toy drive promotes charity through giving our free time to benefit those who are less fortunate but still able to enjoy what we set aside for them.

Last year all members were excited to greet the next child in their visit, and were delighted upon seeing their eyes light up when they saw a toy or game they’ve always wanted. This event also promoted cultural diversity through the diffusion of multiple cultures working together through providing for a variety of cultures as well.
