Junior Achievement is a national organization that focuses on teaching elementary age students about financial literacy and independence.

The organization is looking for volunteers to attend a local elementary school and teach classes to the students for a day on either March 20th or the 27th.  A representative from Junior Achievement will be coming to LIU Brooklyn to conduct a Volunteer training and Orientation for students that are interested in volunteering with Junior Achievement.  This training will be held on Thursday March 5th from 11:30am-1:00pm in H313.   Service hours will be given to those who attend the training and attendees will receive a free LIU Cares T-Shirt.

Volunteers interested in attending the Junior Achievement teaching opportunity must attend the orientation.
