RFTR is a national Jumpstart event. On that day, we try to get as many volunteers to read the same book. Volunteers will be visiting local preschools to read the book “The Bear Ate My Sandwich” and do related activites with the classroom children.

Find out morePamphlets will be created during cold and flu season about managing the common cold and promotion of flu shots. Another pamphlet can be made in the spring on how to manage seasonal allergies.

The mission of Habitat NYC’s Brush with Kindness (BWK) program is to enhance, beautify Painting at a senior or community center within the 5 boroughs of NYC. The BWK is about connecting the community through simple acts of kindness so that families can once again live in safe and decent neighborhoods.

Find out moreThe members of APhA will host BMI screenings to students of LIU. This will be done before thanksvgiving so students will be conscious about what they eat before the holidays and the importance of healthy living. If this event is a huge scucess we will take this off campus and possibly conduct this in front of a pharmacy/ school.
