Come down to the Cyber Cafe Thursday, March 5th from 10am-2pm to show support for our veterans and write a letter to thank them for their service!

The organization is looking for volunteers to attend a local elementary school and teach classes to the students for a day on either March 20th or the 27th. A representative from Junior Achievement will be coming to LIU Brooklyn to conduct a Volunteer training and Orientation for students that are interested in volunteering with Junior Achievement.

Due to COVID-19’s impact on services and visits, many older adults would benefit from friendly connections during this deeply isolating time. The health impacts of loneliness are significant; chronic loneliness has the equivalent health effect as smoking 15 cigarettes a day. Now is the time to reach out to our most vulnerable.
